About our Chickens
Our laying hens are like our ‘clean-up crew’. They follow the ‘Flerd’ to trample, scratch and peck anything that may have been overlooked.
This involves the spreading of manure patties and the desiccation/elimination of many pest species that would otherwise find a very friendly environment in our fields.
This all factors into the much higher nutritive value of our eggs and the incredible shape and color of our yolks compared with almost any other egg you’ll find.
